Delaney Wright Fine Arts Preschool in Hollywood expanded its vision to St Barnabas in the Fall of 2020! Like its sister school in Hollywood , the new Delaney Wright East will be an intentional alternative to the highly competitive, “one size fits all” mode of childhood education.
All Wanderers is like the grass-fed, organic, cage-free version of church.
Once every month, Church of All Wanderers offers an alternative “sabbath” - an opportunity to do church and spirituality differently. These monthly sabbath wanderings take place in beautiful locales around Los Angeles. They encourage an interaction with God in the world and in one another.
An open-hearted spiritual community cultivating empathy, love and justice with offices on the St. Be campus, Nefesh is and independent Jewish community founded by Rabbi Susan Goldberg. Nefesh means “soul” in Hebrew and is based out of the wisdom, rituals, and melodies of the Jewish tradition.
Starting October 1, Jubilee Jump! will bring its creative jump rope program for youth to St Barnabas, every Tuesday, from 5.30-7pm. The program will be open to ages 8 thru 16.
In August, our friends at Seeds of Hope helped us build our community garden, and now, starting October 9, every second Wednesday of the month, Seeds of Hope will distribute free fruits and vegetables and teach cooking classes at St Be’s!
We dream of Saint Barnabas being a noted gathering place and creative hub for the Eagle Rock live music community. Come enjoy a wide variety of talented musicians every 2nd and 4th Saturday evening at 7:00 pm.
