This Week @ St. Be

A week of serving and community- all for you!

Every Thursday (except for holidays and when it rains,) Saint Be’s provides a free food relief service to communities in Eagle Rock. If you would like to volunteer, arrive at 9AM to package the produce with us from 9AM-11AM, and distribute from 11AM-12PM. If you would like to receive produce, simply drive through the alley, adjacent to the church, starting from Chickasaw Ave, and volunteers will load the produce into your car.

Master gardeners from our partner organization, UC Master Gardener Program have revitalized St. Be’s green space. Our garden bins are thriving and and flowing in abundance with plants like Swiss chard, basil, cilantro, and others. From 8am-11am on Thursday, the gardeners service the garden beds and surrounding green space on site at St. Barnabas. If you would like to volunteer with the program members, feel free to join in and take their lead!

Join us this fourth Thursday at our potluck and free workshop. This evening is to build community and learn something that pertains to our interfaith food transformation project with Nefesh, Seeds of Hope, UCLA, St. Stephen's, and St. Barnabas. If you would like to bring food or a beverage to share to the dinner, please register your item(s) using the link here.
