Saturday, June 25 - Bodhisattva’s bringing a Refreshing Blend of jazz, rock, psychedelic, classical, and folk to The Harmony Room @ St. Be’s

The Harmony Room @ St. Be’s is offering an evening out in Northeast LA full of excitement, live entertainment, and a safe and friendly environment to socialize and hear original music! “Bodhisattva” are taking the stage on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 7pm!

LA based guitarist/composer Scotty Bramer's project "Bodhisattva" was born in the middle of 2020 out of a great desire to express himself, when the world was on pause. He had some time to reflect on his life journey, as well as all the music that has moved him deeply. While primarily performing as a jazz guitarist in the old world, "Bodhisattva" bridges the gaps between a variety of musical styles he loves (jazz, rock, psychedelic, folk, classical, etc.). In a sense, this is a reflection of his desire to bring people together at a time that felt separate and distant. The music combines strong melodies with rich harmonies and textures over danceable grooves. The all original “Bodhisattva” EP was arranged and performed by Scotty, except for “To Illuminate All Shadows,” which was recorded at a live performance with his trio. Since then, he has been recording and performing this music with real people, and is grateful to be doing so.
