A night of music composed and played by tenor sax giant, Joe Henderson. Leaning into the compositions that he recorded with a quintet using electric bass and keyboards from the albums, “Power to the People,“ and “Black is the Color.”  

Collectively, the personnel from both groups have either recorded and or performed with Freddie Hubbard, Herbie Hancock, George Benson, Michael Brecker, David Liebman, Charles Loyd, and Ray Charles. 

Admission is $15. Tickets are available for purchase ONLINE or purchase tickets at the door via cash or card on the date of the performance. You are welcome to bring a beverage or snack of your own to enjoy.

The Harmony Room at St. Barnabas, Eagle Rock event space is mobility accessible: there are handrails on the staircase and a ramp for the entrance.
