The LA Choro Club is a group of amateur and professional musicians in Los Angeles that celebrate community and friendship through their shared love of Brazilian music. The group's repertoire features music by Jacob do Bandolim, Pixinguinha and Ernesto Nazareth and includes many classic choros, maxixes, waltzes and sambas. The Brazilian musical style of Choro represents the coming together of European melodic and harmonic traditions with African rhythms and sensibilities.

The LA Choro Club is headed by violinist and mandolinist, Ted Falcon, who lived in Brazil from 2007-2016.  He is recognized by his peers as a leader and catalyst of the Brazilian Choro movement in the U.S, regularly teaching at summer camps around the country and leading a monthly jam session for several years at Ernest Debs Park with the LA Choro Club.
