Trio WoRK ~ ken Wild (ba), tom Rizzo (gtr), susan Krebs (voc), an ongoing collaboration of near 6 years. We have developed a special synergy between our 3 distinct voices over years of music-making. We released our 2nd album, “Dancing in the Dark”, 03/23

We welcome our musical colleagues Rob Lockart (ww) and Aaron Rafael Serfaty (dr), who bring so much musical juice to the enterprise! It is high adventure exploring Trio WoRK's repertoire with this stimulating quintet! 

Ken Wild (Bass) and Tom Rizzo (Guitar) are virtuosic musicians and composer/arrangers in many genres - they bring all the music they’ve played over the years to the trio. Susan Krebs (Vocals) is a longtime actor, improviser and Jazz vocalist, who knows how to tell a tale and change a mood.

Rob Lockart received a BM in music theory with a performers certificate and MM from Eastman School in Jazz Studies, as well as attending the Banff School with Dave Holland, Kenny Wheeler, and David Liebman. He has played with the Woody Herman Orchestra, Tom Harrell Big Band, Doc Severinsen Big Band, Joe LaBarbera Quintet, Kurt Elling, in addition to single performances with Dave Liebman, Mel Lewis, Hank Jones, Clark Terry, and as a soloist with the Houston Symphony Orchestra. He is active as a recording musician in Jazz and Film & TV.

Aaron Rafael Serfaty = Drummer and percussionist born in Caracas, Venezuela. Playing the drum set at the age of fifteen and professionally at seventeen. He did extensive work as a session and touring drummer from 1980 until 1991 with Venezuelan artists like Franco De Vita, Soledad Bravo, Frank Quintero, Ilan Chester, Carlos Mata, and El Trabuco Venezolano.

In 1991 he moved to Los Angeles to attend the California Institute of the Arts. Since then he has played, toured, and/or recorded with the L.A. Phil, Roberta Gambarini, Kristin Korb, Catina de Luna/Otmaro Ruiz’s Lado B, Bob Mintzer All L.A. Band, Arturo Sandoval, Jon Anderson, Sergio Mendes, Dori Caymmi, among many others. Movie soundtracks include Along Came Poly, Coco and Encanto. ~ Aaron is a former faculty at The California Institute of the Arts, Los Angeles College of Music and he is currently on faculty at the University of Southern California.
